It is impossible to imagine the full range of engineering survey in construction without localization to a certain area, for whose development needs and economic use this survey is performed. An integral part of the input data required for an integrated assessment of natural and man-caused conditions of a construction area and for design justification, as well as for solving the issues of constructing, operating, maintaining and liquidating construction facilities, is topographic and geodesic data.
The key goal of the Geodesy and Cartography Department is to perform engineering geodesy survey both in isolation and combined with other survey and study kinds, including engineering and environmental surveys, as well as engineering and geological surveys.
